Between 1972-2000, the Susan Corrock Trophy was awarded to the Fastest U18 Female, in honor of Susan “Susie” Corrock who won a bronze medal in Downhill at the 1972 Olympics in Sapporo, Japan.

Susie was a member of the U.S. Ski Team from 1970-73. She trained occasionally with the Sun Valley Ski Team and was also a member of the Sun Valley Ski Club.
Award recipients’ names are engraved on the Susan Corrock Trophy, which is displayed in the SVSEF Training Center at Warm Springs.
