U.S. Ski & Snowboard Membership

All SVSEF participants must obtain a U.S. Ski & Snowboard membership prior to participating in any team activities. U.S. Ski & Snowboard provides club liability insurance to SVSEF, so all participants are required to hold a current membership number. General memberships are a low-cost way to join for those participants who are not currently competing in sanctioned events. Team Registration Process

We are excited about the enhancements to SkiClubPro to better serve you and our Administrative Team moving forward.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY, AS THE PROCESS ORDER HAS CHANGED FOR 2023-24.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS ARE DUE PRIOR TO REGISTRATION!

  1. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT—Please click on MyAccount in the top navigation of the SVSEF website, to be directed to the new SkiClubPro portal. If you haven’t already through an Air Barn Camp registration, click on CREATE ACCOUNT at the bottom of the window. From there, you will a) set up a household profile and b) add a participant(s). Please have your child’s U.S. Ski & Snowboard member number and your healthcare insurance information at hand when setting up your account. None of the information from a previous SkiClubPro account will transfer over, so thank you in advance for completing everything accurately and thoroughly.
  2. IF YOU ARE NOT APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID—Register your athlete(s) through your new SkiClubPro account. (see further details below)
  3. IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AIDPlease complete the Financial Aid Application below BEFORE you register your athlete(s) for the team(s) in your new SkiClubPro account. Those who submit a 100% complete Financial Aid Application will be notified within 72 hours beginning May 22nd, with the details of your financial aid award. Any carryover credit from the 2022-23 season, along with your 2023-24 financial aid award, will show as a total credit at checkout when you go to register for the 2023-24 season in your SkiClubPro account. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee your spot on a team.

When it comes time to register in SkiClubPro, if the team you are looking to register for is currently full, we encourage you to register for another relevant program and add your name to the waiting list for your first choice program.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Registration for the coming season will be distributed in waves, beginning June 5th and lasting into September. This allows our administrative team the time to accurately manage the workload and be attentive to families with questions.

  • Some teams will require a code to register. These codes will be provided by your coach from the 2022-23 season, or a representative in the event that you are new to the program and have been in communication with Program Directors.
  • Full-time, year-round programs will open early, while part-time and younger programming will open later in the cycle.
  • We will provide an ‘early registration’ window for programs for returning families.
  • As with last season, we will also allow siblings to register as returning athletes during the early registration window. This is a family affair, and we love it!

Financial Aid Application

The online Financial Aid application is now open. Applications will be reviewed starting Monday, May 22, 2023.

SVSEF offers a non-fee application for financial aid. This simple application will collect the required financial data used in determining eligibility. Applicants must complete the application online, and email 2022 income tax return documents* to info@svsef.org. If you prefer, you may drop these tax documents off in person at the office at 215 Picabo Street, Suite 302 OR mail to SVSEF, PO Box 203, Sun Valley, ID, 83353.

*Alpine LASAR and Cross Country Striders applicants do not need to submit income tax return documents.

Returning families must complete financial aid applications prior to registering for any team(s).
The application process for new families will be open through December 2023 on a rolling basis.
