Team Overview

New this season is SVSEF’s South Valley Snowboard Devo program, working out of Rotarun in Hailey. South Valley Devo is for riders who already have some working snowboard experience and are ready for a new challenge; or have a basic skill set already learned through our Rota-Rippers program, and are ready to improve their riding in hopes of taking on all terrain!

We practice all-mountain basic freeriding, jump and park skills, bump skills, and racing techniques with a strong FUN-damental emphasis. SVSEF’s Snowboard South Valley Devo program is designed to introduce and refine skills required to advance within SVSEF’s snowboard programs.

The program is staffed with professional coaches who teach age-appropriate skill progression in line with SVSEF and USSS team building and skill development philosophies. Snowboard athletes in the South Valley Devo program will be grouped with fellow riders at the beginning of each session.

Opportunities to ride with the larger SVSEF Team and Staff will be available, as will inclusion in SVSEF Snowboard Team events and communications.

The goal is to create lifelong snowboarders!
