For more than 50 years, Michel Rudigoz championed the dreams, potential, and humanity of young athletes in Sun Valley. He believed skiing could shape a life and that every athlete deserved the opportunity to pursue their journey, no matter how humble their beginnings.
Decades ago, Michel established what was then known as the Olympic Development Fund (ODF) to help high-performing Alpine athletes pursue their potential. In time, the ODF evolved into the Alpine Development Fund (ADF), carrying forward the vision Michel first set in motion.
Today, that vision continues through the Michel Rudigoz Alpine Development Endowment Fund. Established in honor of his extraordinary legacy, the endowment exists to ensure that talent, hard work, and an indomitable spirit are never constrained by financial barriers. It reflects our community’s enduring commitment to a future where the pursuit of excellence is defined not by circumstance, but by possibility.
