Monroe Cup
The Monroe Cup celebrates legendary SVSEF Coach, Lane Monroe. Monroe was the Program Director/Head Alpine Coach at SVSEF from 1970-1996 and also served as a U.S. Ski Team coach from 1973-1975 as the Men’s Special coach (1973-74) and Head Women’s Coach (1975-1976).

The Monroe Cup is a race series for U12 athletes from the North Intermountain Division (ID, WY) and it serves as a qualifier for athletes in the North to compete against athletes in the South Intermountain Division (UT) at the IMD Championships.
Nearly 200 athletes compete, where the girls race 2 slalom races on Saturday and the boys 2 slalom races on Sunday. Each race consists of two runs.
