Zoe Liberatore, Cross Country Devo South

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=”Emily Williams” job_title=”Cross Country Devo South and Striders Head Coach” portrait_url=”” _builder_version=”3.3.1″]

Zoe is one of the first skiers out the door, ready to ski, every day at South Devo. Her quiet determination and commitment to continuous improvement is clear in her skiing ability. She sets an example, and is an incredible role model for the rest of our team. On the days when she can’t make it to practice, Zoe will make up for the workout on weekends or off days.  We are so happy to have Zoe on the team with us this year, and can’t wait to see her continue to excel as a skier, teammate, and   role model this season!

Fletch Palmer, Mini Xtreme

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=”Ben Schumacher” job_title=”Mini Xtreme Head Coach” portrait_url=”” _builder_version=”3.3.1″]

Fletch Palmer is Athlete of the Week for the Mini X team. Fletch is one of those athletes who stays cool under pressure, and is polite and coachable. In two years, Fletch went to from beginner to standing at the top of the mogul course for the Freestyle Spectacular last weekend. The courage it takes to stand up there for the first time with adults and peers judging you is commendable. Having an open mind and patience under pressure are qualities that will help this young athlete be successful in whatever he chooses to pursue.

Claire Buchwalter, Alpine IMD

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=”James Tautkus” job_title=”Alpine IMD Head Coach” portrait_url=”” _builder_version=”3.3.1″]

Claire’s highlighted as this weeks athlete of the week because she’s a fantastic teammate and extremely accountable. She has a fantastic attitude, a great sense of humor, and comes to training each day with her best effort to improve, which is evident in her progress. She’s an absolute pleasure to coach and keeps a smile on her coaches’ faces. She’s a model mountain town kid, and for all these reasons is SVSEF’s highlighted Athlete of the Week!
