Maile Dorland, 14, Big Mountain

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=”Conor Davis” job_title=”Big Mountain Head Coach” portrait_url=”” _builder_version=”3.3.1″]Maile Dorland jumped into the sport of big mountain and has been on the road these past few weeks. She spent weekends competing at Snowbird and had the opportunity to learn about athlete photography on a photo shoot in between competitions.  In her first competition ever, she didn’t do as well as she had hoped, however, she used it as a learning opportunity and she took home first place in her following two competitions! The night before her competition run she told me that one of her goals is to “get more air!” Great work Maile! You’re ripping it up!

Felix has shown a high level of attentiveness and effort all season at Devo practice. He is a leader who constantly shows up with drive and focus; from game days to distance skis, Felix is always bringing his best, and he has really impressed us this season. Measured in his temperament, but a team player and down to have fun, Felix has been a joy to have on the team.
