Matt Gelso of the SVSEF Cross Country Gold Team, 11th Overall

Matt Gelso of the SVSEF Cross Country Gold Team, comprised half the top American duo in World Cup sprints at Otepää, Estonia. In a competitive field of 24 pairs, Gelso, 26, and Eric Bjornson of the U.S. Nordic B Team, finished 11th overall in freestyle sprints.
