U.S. Ski & Snowboard Membership

All SVSEF participants must obtain a U.S. Ski & Snowboard membership prior to participating in any team activities. U.S. Ski & Snowboard provides club liability insurance to SVSEF, so all participants are required to hold a current membership number. General memberships are a low-cost way to join for those participants who are not currently competing in sanctioned events. For more information on membership categories and benefits, please call U.S. Ski & Snowboard at 435-647-2666 or click here.

Team Registration Process

Team Registration Process

IMPORTANT NOTE:

We are excited to share that SVSEF will be transitioning back to the registration platform, Ski Club Pro, for the upcoming 26-27 season! Ski Club Pro will provide a smoother registration experience and improved account management for families.

Before team registration opens on the below dates, all parents/guardians will need to create a new Household account in Ski Club Pro (see link below). Existing accounts from SportsEngine will not transfer over, so every family must complete this step in advance to be ready for registration day. Some good news is that many of our Waivers will only need to be signed ONCE per household!

We strongly encourage you to create your account as soon as possible to avoid delays and to allow us time to apply any credits/financial aid directly to your Ski Club Pro account, in order to be used towards team tuition costs. SCROLL DOWN THIS PAGE FOR SPECIFIC TEAM REGISTRATION DATES.

If your family plans to apply for Financial Aid, please be sure to complete your application before registering for Team.

Completing the Financial Aid process early will help ensure a smoother registration experience.

Thank you for your patience and support as we make this transition. Please let us know if you have any questions.

We’re looking forward to another great season with your athletes!

  1. SVSEF will be accepting financial aid applications through December 2026. So that we can better serve you in the event your application qualifies, if possible, we ask that you please complete your financial aid application prior to registering for a team so that we may create a unique financial aid award discount code for you to use. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee your spot on a team. See Financial Aid Application section below for further details.
  2. IF YOU ARE NOT APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID—Register your athlete(s) through Ski Club Pro per the details noted above.
  3. SVSEF accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, paper checks, and e-checks payable to the order of SVSEF. Any full or partial payments made by credit or debit card will incur a 3.25% handling fee per transaction and ACH e-checks will incur a 2.4% handling fee per transaction. If you plan to pay with a physical check, please call the office.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Registration for the 2026/27 season will open online in two waves as outlined below and specific to the teams listed.

  • Some teams will require a code to register. These codes will be provided by your athlete’s head coach from the 2025-2026 season, or by calling the SVSEF office at 208-726-4129.
  • Returning families are provided with a two-week ‘early registration’ window.
  • We do allow ‘first-year on-team’ siblings to register as returning athletes during the early registration window. This is a family affair, and we love it!
  • For teams who do any training at Rotarun, Rotarun platter lift access included for all training days. If your athlete wants to ski all season on non-training days, there are two options available for purchase during SVSEF team registration on Ski Club Pro:

Financial Aid Application

The online Financial Aid application is now open. SVSEF will be accepting financial aid applications through December 2026. Applications will be reviewed starting Monday, May 18, 2026.

SVSEF offers a non-fee application for financial aid. This simple application will collect the required financial data used in determining eligibility. Applicants must complete the application online, and email 2025 income tax return documents* to [email protected]. If you prefer, you may drop these tax documents off in person at the office at 215 Picabo Street, Suite 302, OR mail to SVSEF, PO Box 203, Sun Valley, ID, 83353.

APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED WITHOUT SUPPORTING INCOME TAX DOCUMENTATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. (Exception: Alpine LASAR and Cross Country Striders applicants do not need to submit income tax return documents as participation on these teams is supported by the Cooper-Tache First Tracks Fund.)

The application process for new families will be open through December 2026 on a rolling basis. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee your spot on a team.

If you have questions about the application process, please call the SVSEF office at 208.726.4129.
