We are once again able to offer a Thanksgiving project here at home for our alpine teams. We are excited for the “pre-season” mileage and high-quality training; we travel far and wide to find these types of training setups, but nowhere tops our own backyard.
Each group will have a different mix of gate/fundamental work based on the goals of the age class. Individual team plans will be provided by head coaches.
Based on conditions, the camp will be located on Upper and Lower College, 42nd street, and Lower River Run. The possibility of setting training environments (GS and SL gates, drills, fundamentals, etc.), on all of these trails is a dream come true from the skill acquisition point of view. We always begin the season looking for terrain that lends itself to establishing good habits and successful movement patterns. As with years past, the terrain plan is going to afford a world class training environment, with the added bonus of having the hill only open to our SVSEF groups and some visiting teams.
Dates:  The camp is November 23-27 (Saturday through Wednesday). The times and content of the sessions will differ based on the group’s goals.
IMD Team, USSA Team, FIS Cost:  $550 for all 5 days of the camp. ($85 for lift tickets and hill space per day, $25 admin event fee per day)  Athletes can sign up for individual days at $110 per day.
North Series: $440 for the entire camp. ($85 for lift tickets and hill space per day $25 admin and event fee per day). Athletes can sign up for individual days at $110 per day.

• The camp will be Saturday/Sunday, Tuesday/Wednesday – (athletes will not ski on Monday due to coaches education). Sign deadline is Monday November 18th. Sign up on Ski Club Pro under “Camps & Trips”.  The sooner you sign up the better as we can staff the groups appropriately.

Historically this camp has been an incredible experience for athletes at every level.  We encourage our athletes to participate if they can. For some, there will be a few days of school missed, and we encourage you to plan ahead with teachers and secure solid academic footing going into this camp.
Once again Sun Valley Company is offering to wave the lift ticket and hill space fee to employee families with athletes (dependents) that will be participating in the camp. Those athletes will only be charged the $25 per day admin fee. Please look for a separate signup option in ski club pro if you qualify for this opportunity.
