Overview

The Freeski Progression Team serves as a feeder program for Freeski Futures Team and Big Mountain Team. The skills that an athlete gains with the Freeski Progression team will help them step up to the next level. Athletes on this team will develop skills that prepare to be better skiers focusing on park, pipe, rails, jibbing, and all-mountain skills.

TEAM FOCUS
The Freeski Progression USASA Team emphasizes learning and competing in slopestyle, big air, and rail jams. Athletes will have opportunities to travel with their parents to USASA Big Mountain West Series regional events.

Training will cover essential skills such as hitting jumps, quarter-pipes, hips, rails, cat tracks, cliffs, and other jib features. Additional off-snow training will be available at the Air Barn, emphasizing air awareness and basic acrobatics related to freeskiing.
