Team Overview

The Freeski Futures team focus is on slopestyle, big air, and halfpipe skiing with the opportunity to travel to out of town training camps and events.

A Freeski athlete’s focus is on park skiing and skiing pow when conditions call for it. Must be able to ski all terrain at speed in varying conditions including jumps, quarter-pipes, hips, rails, cat tracks, cliffs, and other jib features.

There will also be off-snow training available at the Air Barn. Off and on-snow training will focus on air awareness skills and basic acrobatics in relation to freeskiing. SVSEF will offer a number of training camp and competition opportunities. When team travel is an option, it is available to athletes in high school and all others will travel with parents or guardians. Each project has a separate cost in addition to tuition.
