Wood River Valley
SVSEF athletes enjoy access to a large spectrum of training venues on both Bald Mountain (Baldy), Dollar Mountain and Rotarun Ski Area in Hailey.
We have a long standing relationship with the Sun Valley Company, giving SVSEF athletes exclusive access to a spectacular array of training terrain. Sun Valley Company has invested in one of the world’s top snow making operations, giving athletes an excellent and dependable snow surface for skill acquisition and competition.

Engl Training Center
The Engl training center, located at the foot of Bald Mountain in Ketchum, Idaho, is home to the SVSEF gravity programs. The state of the art facility (remodeled in the summer of 2013) is a 6000 square foot complex that delivers technology-inspired teaching capability, conference rooms to facilitate learning and engagement, training space to broaden the spectrum of athletic development, athlete lockers and ski storage, plus organized and effective administrative space to execute the club’s mission.

Lake Creek Hut
The SVSEF Cross Country teams are primarily based out of the Lake Creek Hut and utilize the plethora of trails and training venues the Wood River Valley has to offer.

South Valley
Rotarun Ski Area
Located just three miles east of downtown Hailey, Idaho, Rotarun Ski Area has been a community hub for local snow sports enthusiasts since 1948. A training site for SVSEF programming and private access for beginning athletes, Rotarun also offers public skiing throughout the winter season.

The SVSEF Air Barn is a year-round, 3,200-square foot training facility for all disciplines (primarily Freeski, Freestyle, Snowboard and Big Mountain).

Julia Argyros Training Center
The Julia Argyros Training Center at Community School’s Rufus M. Brown Hall is a state-of-the-art gym modeled after the USSA Center of Excellence in Park City, Utah.
