Business Manager for Client Relations

Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, a 501 c3 non-profit, seeks a Business Manager for Client Relations. Successful candidates are self-directed, solution-focused, and flexible. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and QuickBooks, with focus on bookkeeping and accounts receivable required. Excellent phone skills a must. Position is full-time hourly, year-round, non-exempt, health and dental benefits, IRA plan, and season ski pass.

Bookkeeping and Transactional Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and oversee all aspects of Ski Club Pro (SCP).  SCP is the third-party platform used by SVSEF to register athletes for teams, camps, and trips.
  • Manage all transactions related to receipt of earned and contributed revenue funds, reconcile Ski Club Pro with QuickBooks, and assist development team with reconciliation.
  • Manage customer payment plans and accounts receivable.
  • Generate sales receipts for all transactions related to earned and contributed revenue.
  • Invoice customers in QuickBooks for all transactions generated through Ski Club Pro.
  • Employee team credit card disbursement, account management, reporting, coding, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate best practice funds transaction systems for customer registration, donor fund-raising, online merch sales, and hosted events.
  • Work with Ski Club Pro staff to improve functionality and ease of reporting.

General Responsibilities:

  • Display a team player attitude while assisting with general office duties, answering phones, greeting walk in clients, and supporting the coaching staff.
  • Develop and implement procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the Customer Service Department.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and problem-solve in a professional and effective manner.
  • Support development, marketing, and communications efforts by offering creative input, strategic ideas, data analysis, and reporting as needed.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as requested.
  • Performing all job responsibilities to the highest professional standard, while exhibiting exemplary ethical and moral values in support of SVSEF’s core values.
  • Accept and adhere to each of the policies, rules, and requirements as outlined in the SVSEF Staff Handbook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with time critical deadlines. Ability to work both individually and as a team, make decisions, and solve problems independently.
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication as well as strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and possess the ability to learn additional software & vendor platforms.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires sitting at a computer for extended periods. Attend SVSEF fundraising events, social events, and other functions as requested.
