We’re proud to present the SVSEF graduating class of 2019 –

a talented group of individuals, both on the snow and beyond. With 21 graduates pursuing higher education at four-year universities, a small cohort further pursuing sport in the form of a post grad year, and all 23 with their sights set high, we wish the best to these remarkable, driven individuals as they take on whatever comes next.

College Sports: D1 Alpine Skiing

Best SVSEF Memory: There are too many memories that I have made but one of the most memorable was when Will Brandenburg and I went bridge jumping in the middle of winter in New Zealand. After contemplating the cold water, height of the bridge, and the frigid air temperature, Will looks at Scotty and asks “Can we jump of the the bridge?” Scotty responds something around the lines of, “Will, you are an adult, you can make your own decisions.” Will jumped of the bridge first and me and several others followed. This is just one of the many memorable memories that I have made during my time on SVSEF.

Words of Wisdom: Every opportunity or chance you have to go outside, take it. If the race gets cancelled, go free skiing. If you friends want to go kayaking but you have “too much homework,” go kayaking. Go mountain bike, hike, and explore the beautiful valley that we live in. SVSEF has given me the opportunity to travel around the world. I can say that we live in a pretty special place. Take advantage of it!
