ALPINE

Grace Pepin, 17, FIS

Our alpine of the week is Grace Pepin. Grace is a graduating senior this season and has brought a wonderful presence to the SVSEF community. She is a magnificent skier, a great teammate, and bedrock to the fabric of the women’s FIS team. We appreciate Grace and her contributions to the squad and our entire mountain community. Keep laying down beautiful arcs, Pepin!

CROSS COUNTRY

West Gardner, 12, Prep

West comes to practice with a smile on his face, no matter what the workout is – he is completely unreserved about how much he cares for the sport. He is someone who shows maturity in his ability to challenge and push himself (he practiced with the prep team as a devo athlete once a week last season, and is always eager for a good interval session), but also in his innate sense of knowing when to relax, take a step back, and soak up the joys that come with being a kid. West is a joy to work with – always respectful, helpful to the coaching staff, and a great teammate.

PARK & PIPE

Easton Turck, 11, Comp Home

Easton is dedicated to the park team going to every competition he can. He likes to hit jumps, rails, quarter pipes, halfpipes and shred pow.  He is willing to learn and is very coachable. Easton has a great future ahead of him on the Park and Pipe team.
